What problem does it actually solve?
The manual method works: you open ChatGPT, ask “which companies do X in Colombia?” and note whether you show up. The problem is not the method, it is sustaining it.
A decent measurement needs somewhere between fifteen and thirty different questions, repeated across three engines, and repeated again weeks later to see whether anything moved. That is hundreds of queries and an orderly record. Almost everyone does it once, finds it revealing, and never does it again.
Airuz automates exactly that part: the repetition and the record. You enter the domain and it runs the queries against the three engines for you.
You can try it with your own domain at airuz.app: it asks for nothing else and answers in under a minute.
How do you read the result?
The headline number is a frequency of appearance: how many of the answers queried mention your brand. It is not a position in a ranking, and it is not a score out of ten.
That changes how to read it. A 0% does not mean you are doing it wrong; it means that on those particular questions the model named someone else. And a 40% is not “you are fourth”: it means you appeared in four out of ten answers in that sample.
What is useful is not the figure on its own but the same measurement repeated: if in March you appeared in two answers out of twenty and in June in seven, that says something. One measurement is a photograph; the value is in the series.
The warning worth giving you
Language models do not always return the same thing. The answer depends on how the question is phrased, on the history of whoever is asking, on the country, and on the model's own randomness. Two identical runs can produce different results.
Which means no tool of this kind — not Airuz, not any other — can give you a figure as stable as a Google ranking. Anyone promising you an exact “AEO ranking” is selling precision the technology does not allow today.
We say it here because it is the question clients ask the moment they see the first report, and we would rather answer it before they do.
What do you do after measuring?
Measuring on its own moves nothing. What moves the needle is what you do with it, and that is content and structure work:
- Answer, directly, the questions where you do not appear.
- Publish figures and verifiable sources, which is what these engines cite.
- Keep the site readable without JavaScript, because many AI crawlers do not run it.
- Keep one coherent entity: same name, same description, same details everywhere.
It is exactly the work we describe in our AEO guide for B2B companies. The tool tells you where you stand; the guide tells you what to do about it.
Does it replace checking by hand?
Not entirely, and it should not. Airuz tells you which answers you appear in, where inside each one, and alongside which competitors. What does not fit in a number is how the model describes you: with what argument, in what tone, and with what caveats.
That context is worth as much as the figure. Our practical recommendation is to use the tool for the series — measuring every month or quarter without effort — and to do a qualitative read by hand a couple of times a year, with the step-by-step method.
